Blog Focus on Tech Misfits, Boo-Boos, and Practical Jokes
Blog Focus is Technorati's daily roundup of the top stories as told by the bloggers of the world. Each day a handful of posts, no matter how popular or nascent, will be selected by editors to portray a general unscientific reaction to discussion points around the 'Net.

It may be only November 9th, but Santa is never restful and always watching. He sees you when you're sleeping; he knows when you're reading Technorati instead of working. (To be fair, Santa's reading this, too; you're not alone in needing a bit of goof-off time between endless meetings with small people who keep nice'n'naughty lists.)
Therefore, you can be confident that Mr. Claus and Co. have been monitoring the blogs that have been monitoring the coal seekers (both intentional and not) that have been mucking up our favorite toys before Christmas. Here's Santa's starter list for Monday morning:
• Crave: The gadget blog — If you haven't already ordered your Nook, you'd better get off your cranny if you want delivery before December 25th according to Steven Musil. Recent purchasers have been told to wait until at least 12/11 for their new word delivery platforms to arrive.
• The Business of Online Video — Dan Rayburn has tested Netflix on a Playstation 3 console and isn't really enjoying this present yet. Load times and control reaction times appear to be so slow early on that you could be at your local redbox by the time the movie loads or pauses.
• TUAW — According to Michael Rose, you lucky Apple TV owners aren't doing any better. Apple TV users that updated to 3.0 need to upgrade to 3.0.1 immediately to avoid losing all their content. If you do, resist the urge to use your lump of coal to make your fist heavier on your next Apple Store visit.
• Technologizer — Harry McCracken (among many others) provides the latest holiday Verizon ad to slam the AT&T network, claiming the iPhone belongs on the Island of Misfit Toys due to said network coverage. Note that Verizon is slightly less anxious to talk about other maps.
• Engadget — Nilay Patel will never ever give up covering the latest Rick Roll: a worm that infects jailbroken iPhones with SSH installed.
