Samsung Superbowl Ad Will Be Huge In Many Ways

At the Superbowl in Indianapolis, people are as excited about the game ahead as they are about the ads and commercials we'll see throughout. Dare I say, some may even be tuning into half time to see Madonna cut a rug as well. Samsung knows the power of branding, as we've been witnessing since they started their new Galaxy Ad campaign, mainly featuring the Galaxy S II. At Superbowl XLVI, we're going to see a 90 second ad spot costing Samsung around $9 million featuring the 'next big thing'...The Samsung Galaxy Note. To add more hype to this ad spot from Samsung, they hired famed director Bobby Farrelly. he's best known as one of the Farrelly Brothers responsible for bringing us Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin, There's Something About Mary and Stuck On You.
Aside from having some Hollywood power on the backend, "part" of the ad has been reportedly recorded by the Galaxy Note itself, which is capable of 1080p video recording with its 8 megapixel rear camera. Other specs for the Galaxy Note include 5.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protection, MicroSD slot, 16GB - 32GB internal storage models, 1GB RAM, 2megapixel front facing camera, rear LED flash, autofocus and 24-30fps video recording, shipping with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI v4.0, Samsung Exynos 1.4GHz dual-core processor, and finally, the Samsung S Pen which slides neatly inside the Note`s body for storage. have a look at the teaser video below for the upcoming Superbowl ad on Sunday.
