PogoPlug goes to market... starting in May, these sweet little devices will be available to purchase from Best Buy, but if you're in a hurry, you will be able to pick up the Mobile version from Walmart in April.
Right now, little clouds are developing all over the data storage horizon, with over one million of these devices and apps in operation. This means over "150 petabytes... ," (one = 2 to the 50th power, or 1,125,899,906,842,624 bytes, I looked it up), "of end-user data," ... so much storage for such a small outlay, and such a cute enclosure.
PogoPlug is getting global attention, too. Japan's SoftBank Mobile recently partnered with PogoPlug to offer a co-branded mobile device and a 20GB cloud storage account.
Personal clouds makes sharing stuff interoperable (the ability to share data between different computer systems, I looked it up).
