iOS 5 Beta 7: Another sign that points to the release date of iPhone 5
Apple recently released iOS 5 beta 7 to developers via over-the-air (OTA) update, including a number of new features to Apple's iOS like the Notification Center, iMessage, Twitter integration, Newsstand, and iCloud. History has taught us that once a major iOS version is released, the next version of iPhone can't be far behind.
iOS 3.x was released June 17, 2009, then two days later Apple launched the iPhone 3GS. Then on June 21, 2010, iOS 4.x was publicly made available and after 3 days the iPhone 4 was introduced. So if Apple remains consistent in their iOS-iPhone release dates, once iOS 5.x becomes available, it won't be long until Apple announces the availability of the iPhone 5. This is another sign that says the iPhone 5 is coming sooner than we think, probably within the next couple of weeks!
We may see a couple more beta releases for the iOS 5.x; heck it may even reach Beta 9 before Apple releases iOS 5.x to the public. Between the iOS 5 release and until Apple officially announces the iPhone 5, Apple's Marketing team will have already built up interest and buzz for their upcoming smartphone (actually Apple already has.) So, a little more patience for those who are itching to get a new smartphone with a fruit logo, including me by the way.
