6500 Dollars for Ostendo's 43-Inch Curved Monitor?
Everybody is talking about the recession. Everybody feels that the economy is going down. Oh really? So, if there is this so-called recession, why is it that some people are buying the Ostendo’s 43-inch curved monitor at the $6,500 cost? Isn’t this the cost of a second-hand car?
Ostendo’s curved monitor features a LED backlit display with the aspect ratio of 32:10. The first glance of this monitor was at the Consumer Electronics Show back in 2008. The second appearance was this year, at Macworld. After these brief appearances, it was just quiet on all fronts.

Even so, Ostendo is selling this curved monitor to gamers from all around the world, military for training and defense simulation and many other programming companies because of its obvious utility. Engadget states Ostendo declared sales for this monitor are going well.
You can easily buy this bow-like monitor with 2880x900 resolution from Ostendo’s website.
Now, the question I have for all of you is: Why would you spend $6,500 dollars on a single device when you can buy 2 or 3 cheaper ones and use them side-by-side and still move one of them to another room of the house if you really need it there? Some of you could answer: I would buy for its sub-.02ms response time, but still, would you go for it at this huge price?
