Alie and Georgia Mix a McNuggetini
Ah, the McNuggetini! This calorific cocktail invented by Georgia Hardstark and Alie Ward was first featured on This Recording back in February, proving so deliciously revolting it merited inclusion on This Is Why You're Fat. That in turn lead to a series of mentions on Serious Eats, DListed, and The Huffington Post (among others), making the McNuggetini the most-talked about chicken-vodka-milkshake cocktail on the web. Now the long awaited step-by-step instructional video—directed and edited by Peter Atencio and featuring the lovely mixologists themselves—is ready to go viral.
The vodka and milkshake combo itself doesn't look so bad—"a White Russian on angel dust"—and, unless you're a vegetarian, the chicken nugget garnish might be a tasty little treat. And if for some reason you have an aversion to meat and chocolate, you can pick it off before it even comes in contact with the shake. The barbeque sauce rim, on the other hand, may be where I have to draw the line. After seeing the look on Georgia's face after downing the first gulp, I can't imagine pouring a McNuggetini for myself anytime soon.
