Lightning Strike Recorded in Slow Motion
A special high-speed camera captured this fabulous multiple tower upward lightning flash outside of Rapid City, SD. Recorded at 9000 frames per second, the storm hardly looks real. Some smaller bolts flicker in and out of the frame while the larger leaders linger for several seconds (in slow-motion speed) at a time. This further supports my theory that everything looks cooler when you slow it down.
