You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger Trailer
Woody Allen's latest romantic comedy premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this May to a very lukewarm reception. You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (great title!) comes to U.S. theaters in September and we'll finally have a chance to see how it stacks up against the abysmal failure of Whatever Works. It's got a fantastic cast (Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Antonio Banderas), but certainly not the big name stars Allen would need to keep this one from sinking at the box office if it's as poorly received as his last outing. The trailer doesn't look all that bad, but I want to know what's the deal with this horrible, limpid voice-over narrator? Is he the understudy or something?
